Disney’s Pop Century Resort Restaurants Guide

Disney’s Pop Century Resort has a fairly simple dining lineup compared to some of the larger Walt Disney World resorts. The resort’s main restaurant is Everything POP Shopping & Dining, a large food court located at Classic Hall. Pop Century is also home to Petals Pool Bar, a pool bar near the Hippy Dippy Pool.

In this guide to dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, we’ll look at the resort’s restaurants, including what you can expect at the food court and pool bar. We’ll also cover a few restaurants near Pop Century that can be convenient alternatives when you want something different.

One of the advantages of staying at Pop Century is having access to the Skyliner. Since the resort is on the Skyliner, you can quickly hop over to a few other resorts for a meal. Plus, it’s fun to explore new places. Who knows, you might fall in love with a new resort to try on your next visit.

Below, we’ll preview details for each location, including hours of operation, links to the current menus with prices, and what to expect. We photograph these locations fairly regularly, so most of the things pictured will be available. I always like to note that menu items and prices can change. However, the information provided will give you a good idea of the kinds of items. Also, grab-and-go items like snacks, sodas, and groceries rarely change.

Everything Pop Shopping and Dining

Everything Pop is the resort’s combined gift shop and food court. It sits off the lobby of Classic Hall and offers multiple stations with a variety of cuisines.

For breakfast, you can expect items like

  • Waffle Bounty Platter
  • Biscuit and Gravy Bounty Platter
  • Loaded Totcho Bowl
  • Mickey-shaped Waffles
  • Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich
  • Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Bagel Sandwich
  • Vegetable Breakfast Quesadilla (Plant-Based)

On our last stay, I enjoyed the Biscuit and Gravy Bounty Platter minus the eggs. I really wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out to be a tasty meal that I enjoyed. I would order this again on a return trip.

For lunch and dinner, you can expect burgers, cheeseburgers, chicken strips, and the usual pizza and pasta items. A few entrees are available where guests can select two side items. For example, we’ve seen options like citrus basil salmon, sesame chicken, and chicken adobo nachos.

During a previous stay, I ordered the sesame chicken with a side of rainbow carrots and rice. It’s a menu item that stands out from the typical burgers and fries. This dish is available at most value food courts and has been for some time.

On another visit, I ordered the citrus basil salmon at Port Orleans French Quarter. Again, you’ll find many consistent menu items across the value and moderate resorts. I like to share them where applicable so you’ll know what to expect regarding serving size and taste. I would order the salmon or the sesame chicken above on return visits.

In addition to entrees, the other stations we found at Pop Century include: Burgers and Chicken, Hot Dogs, Pizza and Pasta, Sandwiches, Salads, Plant-Based, and desserts. Most stations offer meals that come with sides, or you can purchase à la carte items. Additionally, each station has kids’ meals that match the cuisine.

If you’re looking for a whole pizza instead of a slice, you can order one at the Pizza and Pasta Station. Cheese and pepperoni are typically the only two options. It may take a little longer, but we’ve been told that if you order an entire pizza, it’s more likely to be freshly prepared. (You can also request that it be freshly prepared.)

The back of the food court has a dedicated grab-and-go area with several refrigerated cases and displays. You’ll find bottled beverages, including soda, sports drinks, water, juice, milk, wine, and beer, along with refrigerated desserts, pre-made sandwiches, salads, and other convenient options.

This is also where you’ll find Pop Century’s signature tie-dye cheesecake. A pastry case offers a selection of breakfast and baked goods, including Danishes, donuts, muffins, cinnamon rolls, crumb cake, croissants, and similar items. In addition to the food stations, Everything POP has several dining rooms with plenty of seating. Depending on where you sit, you might find a table near a television, which might help keep children entertained while you’re dining.

Microwaves and toaster ovens are also available for guest use in the food court. This can be particularly convenient if you need to warm something during your stay. Here are a few more photos.

Petals Pool Bar

Petals Pool Bar is adjacent to the Hippy Dippy Pool. It offers a small selection of snacks, such as Mickey pretzels and ice cream novelties. The bar also has a few pre-made sandwiches and salads. The pool bar serves Disney’s standard cocktail menu, which is available at most bars throughout Disney World.

  • Location: Between Classic Hall and the Hippy Dippy Pool
  • Hours: 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. (Hours may vary throughout the year.)

Since Everything Pop Dining is only a few steps away from the pool, we typically place mobile orders and walk inside the food court to pick up our meals. For reference, the photo below shows the distance from the food court’s entrance (where I’m standing) to the pool bar. The pool is behind the fence and palm trees.

Lastly, you’ll find a refillable beverage station on the side of the Petals Pool Bar. This station is convenient if you’re spending time at the Hippy Dippy Pool or staying in the 70s section of the resort. (Tip: This station is usually open 24 hours.)

Dining Options Near Pop Century

If you’re looking for quick-service restaurants near Pop Century, you’ll have a couple of options only a Skyliner ride away. For starters, the closest option will be at Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation, which is within walking distance. Art of Animation sits on the opposite side of the lake from Pop Century. You probably won’t see too many differences here, but they do have Cars-shaped waffles for breakfast.

From Pop Century, you can board the Skyliner to Disney’s Caribbean Beach. At Caribbean Beach, you can exit and walk or take the internal shuttle to Old Port Royale. (See walking distances at Caribbean Beach for the exact length of the walk.) Caribbean Beach is home to Centertown Market, which is a substantial quick-service. They will have a lot of the same offerings for breakfast. But you’ll find some notable differences on the lunch and dinner menus. At this location, you walk in, order from a menu, and pick up your food when your pager alerts you that it’s ready.

Final Thoughts

Overall, Disney’s Pop Century Resort offers a reasonable selection of dining options, with Everything POP providing plenty of choices for quick meals, snacks, and drinks. However, if you’re staying for several days, you may find yourself ready for a change of scenery. Incorporating some of the nearby dining options we discussed above can add variety to your trip.
