Epcot Shifts to Later Close During International Festival of the Holidays (2024)
If you visit Epcot during the International Festival of the Holidays, you’ll be privy to an extra 30 minutes plus fireworks in the park each evening. Per the My Disney Experience app, Epcot will close at 9:30 p.m. starting November 29, 2024. This is 30 minutes later than the regular 9:00 p.m. close and is typical of the holiday season.
This year’s Holiday Festival will run from November 29, 2024, through December 30, 2024. Guests can participate in the holiday kitchens, Candlelight Processional, Santa Claus meet-and-greet, holiday storytellers, and other entertainment offerings exclusive to the event.

It’s important to note that Epcot’s evening fireworks, Luminous: The Symphony of Us, are always held at park closing. So, the nightly fireworks performance will shift to 9:30 p.m. instead of the usual 9:00 p.m. A few shops will remain open until about an hour after the park closes, so you won’t need to rush after the fireworks conclude. We prefer to take our time and let the park clear out before exiting Epcot at closing.
