Maestro Mickey’s Refurbishment Now Complete With a New Look
Earlier this week, we stopped by Disney’s All-Star Music to check out the refurbishment progress for Maestro Mickey’s, the resort’s gift shop. We found that the work was complete, and they had fully reopened only a few days earlier.
Maestro Mickey’s has undergone a phased refurbishment since early August, similar to the one completed at Sports Goofy Gifts last year. Donald’s Double Feature at Disney’s All-Star Movies is the only gift shop left that hasn’t been completely updated. Let’s take a look at what we found.
Thankfully, the gift shop’s endearing marquee remains. You might, however, notice the changes to the surrounding mural that debuted late last year. We have a separate before and after photo post of the mural changes at the All-Star Resorts.
Inside, the dark blue ceiling had a fresh coat of paint, and the walls had all been repainted.
The new faded paint job featured musical notes, which were a nice touch.
For reference, the photo below is of the gift shop’s interior before the remodel. It shows the bland walls and the carpeted flooring.
It is now much more cheerful with the vibrant paint colors.

The solid surface flooring was another positive.
These steel drum displays were cute.
I didn’t see any changes to the grocery or refrigerated area.
Overall, we love the finished look of the gift shop and the other recent changes to the resort. All-Star Music is our favorite of the three because we love the music theming.
