Trilo-Bites and Dino-Bite Snacks in Dinoland, USA Closing for Good
Disney has announced that two Dinoland quick-service snack locations are permanently closing in the near future. Both locations will have their last day of operation on October 19, 2025. As of October 20th, they will be permanently closed. Here’s what you need to know about a few of the popular snack items offered at these locations:
- Buffalo Chicken Chips: They aren’t going anywhere! This dish will be relocated to Eight Spoons Cafe on Discovery Island.
- Dole Whip Floats will be available at Warung Outpost in Asia.
- Hand-scooped ice cream will return to the park in 2026.

These two quick-service options are only a few of the recent closings for Dinoland U.S.A. You may remember that the Boneyard Playground closed in September. Earlier this year, the carnival area (TriceraTop Spin, Chester and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, and Fossil Fun Games) permanently closed.
If you’re visiting between now and then, you’ll also want to remember that DINOSAUR, the Dino Institute Shop, Restaurantosaurus, Restaurantosaurus Lounge, and Donald’s Dino Bash will all permanently close on February 2, 2026. The last day to experience this area is February 1, 2026.
For more details, see our Dinoland U.S.A. Closing Timeline. Also, in case you are wondering, this area of the park is closing to make way for a new Tropical Americas land coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2027. Named Pueblo Esperanza, the land will consist of 11 acres. It will feature the first-ever Encanto-themed attraction, a new Indiana Jones ride that will replace DINOSAUR, and it will be home to the largest quick-service restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort. Guests can also expect a large fountain and a working carousel that features hand-carved animals from Disney favorites. Construction on the land is ongoing.
