Use this Secret Entrance When You’re Staying at Disney’s Beach Club (Especially When It’s Raining)
We couldn’t share a tip for avoiding long halls at Disney’s Yacht Club without telling you how to take advantage of them at Disney’s Beach Club. Believe me, I know how ironic that sounds. That said, if you’re staying at Disney’s Beach Club, you’re likely going to run into a time when you’ll want to use this secret entrance. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used this very path to seek shelter from the rain on my way back from Epcot. Likewise, I’ve used the same path to linger in the air-conditioned hallways a few minutes longer before being greeted by oven-like temperatures in the middle of summer.

Above, you see the resort-side entrance of Disney’s Beach Club. Guests exit the lobby from this area and use the sidewalk to join the path for the FriendShip boat dock, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or the surrounding resorts. However, if you’re visiting Epcot or Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, you have the option to linger inside a few minutes longer.
Instead of exiting the Beach Club’s lobby, you’ll take the hallway that extends past The Beach Club Marketplace, the resort’s combined quick service restaurant and gift shop. You’ll follow the directionals until you reach room 1501. There, you’ll see a white door with a green exit sign above it. You’ll open the door, walk past the stairwell, and head directly outside.

If you’re returning from Epcot, you’ll take a right at the first gate on the corner of Disney’s Beach Club. The door is almost immediately on your left past the corner room’s patio. You will need your MagicBand, Keys to the World card, or My Disney Experience app to access the door. So this tip only works for those who can access the door.

To give you an idea of how close you are to Epcot, the image below shows the edge of the resort and a small incline where guests are walking. Epcot’s International Gateway is a few steps away on the opposite side of the incline. At the top of the incline, you can also take a right and cross the bridge to Disney’s BoardWalk. It is a very convenient location.

I hope these tips help you out on your next visit. We see a lot of guests complaining about the long halls at both the Beach and Yacht Club. In this instance, however, they aren’t so bad! For more on Disney’s Beach Club Resort, you might enjoy the following:
