Where to Meet Princess Elena of Avalor at Disney World

Princess Elena of Avalor is one of the many characters who meet at Magic Kingdom. She meets daily on the side patio of Town Square Theater near the park’s main entrance. As of this update, she’s been at this location for well over a year. She relocated here from Princess Fairytale Hall, her former meet-and-greet location. Over the past few years, this specific location has become what’s called the “princess patio.” Mulan also meets daily at this same location, and sometimes, you might even see Snow White meeting here.

When you enter Magic Kingdom, Town Square Theater is on the immediate right. Inside is where you’ll find Mickey Mouse’s magician meet-and-greet. If you walk around to the right corner of the theater’s front porch, you’ll often find Princess Elena. Of course, you’ll want to check the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit for her exact times. She meets intermittently throughout the day between 9:00 and 4:00 p.m. as of late. We only recently learned that she was friends with Princess Sofia the 1st, who meets with guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As far as conversation goes, Elena loves to talk about Jacquins and the kingdom of Avalor. Here is a photo of her autograph.

As always, character meet-and-greets can and do change. So we always stress the importance of using the My Disney Experience app to check availability, locations, and times on the day of your visit. Here are the instructions; you can practice at home before your trip.

How to Locate Characters in the My Disney Experience App

Open the My Disney Experience app and select the pin drop at the bottom of the home screen.
Scroll (left to right) through the icons at the top of the screen and select “Characters.”
After selecting characters, use the locations drop-down to select the park of your choice.
Then, on the bottom right of the screen, select “Show List.”
Scroll through the list of characters with their times and locations.

As an alternative, you can use the map view to locate characters.

*As the day passes, you might notice that characters disappear from the app. When their last scheduled time passes, the meet-and-greet automatically disappears. A new schedule won’t be loaded until the following day. It is essential to check the app for meet-and-greets on the day of your visit.
