Disney Entices Fans With Halfway to the Holiday Teasers Ahead of Official Announcements
It’s almost time! We’re nearly halfway to the holidays, which means Walt Disney World will soon be releasing information about the upcoming 2026 holiday season. To prepare fans, the Disney Parks Blog and Disney Parks social media have been sharing a few halfway to the holiday teasers. Below, we’ll take a look at what we know so far and what we anticipate knowing soon. We’ll start with a clue from the Disney Parks Blog that pretty much confirms holiday information will be revealed tomorrow, June 24th. Here is the first clue:
The stockings are hung by the chimney with care. Just tap on each one…there’s a clue hiding there! A sprinkle of magic, a festive preview, with secrets revealed on June 24 for you!
Yesterday, we first saw mention of the Halfway to the Holidays announcement, which led many of us to think that announcements would begin on the 23rd. However, the only revelations so far today are more clues. Here is the teaser from the 22nd.
’Twas the night before Halfway to the Holidays… the mantle stood still, With spaces to fill… and secrets to reveal
Stocking Teaser (Jollywood Nights)
The first stocking that appeared on the mantle earlier this morning offers the following line.
Where once there was space, now a stocking appears, with a jingle of bells softly ringing in ears.
This stocking is a no-brainer. It represents Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney has already confirmed the return of Jollywood Nights. My best guess is that tomorrow, we’ll have a complete list of dates for Jollywood Nights in 2026, along with details for returning (and possibly new) entertainment offerings.
Stocking Teaser (Mickey’s Christmas Party)
Later this morning, a second stocking appeared with the following verse:
The second now joins, the mystery grows, with three little shapes that everyone knows.
This next stocking very obviously represents Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. We can see the popular reindeer who appear in the castle stage show and parade. There’s the holiday layover of Space Mountain, cookies, hot cocoa, and a nutcracker! The number of hidden Mickey’s leads one to think that the first party night might be on the 8th! Whatever happens, I have a feeling we’ll know more tomorrow. Check back for the full list of dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Stocking Three ( Epcot Festival of the Holidays)
By mid-morning, Disney revealed the third stocking on the mantle, which clearly represents the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. This might be a reach, but the stocking has 27 snowflake patterns, leaving us to believe that the festival will start on November 27th, the day after Thanksgiving. Check back with us tomorrow for confirmation of the dates for the 2026 Epcot Festival of the Holidays. Oh, and here is the verse that was released with this stocking.
The third now appears, the pattern expands, with a festival of wonder from faraway lands
Stocking Four (Merchandise?)
It’s no secret that half (if not more) of the fan community is hoping for a surprise announcement involving the return of the Castle Dreamlights. (It would be incredible.) That said, this next stocking has me a little stumped. I assume that it involved some sort of merchandise reveal. I guess we’ll just have to wait until tomorrow to find out. Here is the last verse.
