A New Soundtrack and Lilypad the DJ Are Coming to Alien Swirling Saucers
If you’re a fan of Toy Story Land, you’ll love these new additions announced by Walt Disney World. A new soundtrack and a new toy are coming to Alien Swirling Saucers in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Beginning Friday, September 25, 2026, guests can experience Lilypad’s Jams, a new soundtrack created for the attraction and hosted by Lilypad, the frog-shaped smart tablet introduced in Toy Story 5.
Lilypad will join Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear in the backyard as the attraction gets a fresh lineup of music. Even better (for some), guests won’t have to board Alien Swirling Saucers to enjoy the new tunes. Lilypad will also serve as a DJ for guests in the area, bringing her playlist and interactive entertainment to the backyard.
A New Soundtrack for Alien Swirling Saucers
Lilypad’s Jams will bring a new soundtrack to Alien Swirling Saucers, combining reimagined songs from the Toy Story films with brand-new music created specifically for the attraction. Imagineers recorded the new soundtrack in Nashville with musicians across a variety of musical styles, including pop, country, EDM, and alt-rock.
The new lineup includes reimagined versions of several familiar Toy Story songs, along with original songs created just for the attraction. Songs featured in the new soundtrack include:
- “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”
- “We Belong Together”
- “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away”
- “Pizza Planet Promo”
- “Spin It Back, Lilypad”
The new music will bring a fresh energy to the swirling attraction while giving guests some familiar Toy Story favorites to recognize along the way.
Meet Lilypad, the Backyard’s New DJ
Lilypad is the newest toy in the backyard, and she has a unique way of bringing everyone together. Introduced in Toy Story 5, Lilypad is a frog-shaped smart tablet with modern technology.
At Alien Swirling Saucers, Lilypad will take on the role of DJ, mixing and introducing songs from her playlist while guests ride the attraction. She will also entertain guests who choose to stay off the ride.
From her spot in front of Alien Swirling Saucers, Lilypad will interact with guests between songs. She can invite them to sing along, offer puzzles to unscramble, and use her drawing app to doodle pictures. Guests can even watch “home videos” she has recorded featuring some of their favorite Toy Story characters.
This means the new music and Lilypad’s entertainment will be part of the Toy Story Land experience whether or not guests decide to take a spin on Alien Swirling Saucers.
