Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! is an interactive stage show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse. This attraction is located in Animation Courtyard in the Walt Disney Studios Lot Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This stage show is geared toward younger children, especially Disney Jr. fans. Plus, it’s a great place to take a break from the heat. We stopped by to check out a performance and tell you all about it!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live replaced the former Disney Jr Play and Dance! which permanently closed in September of 2025. For those who have visited before, the setup is pretty much the same. You’ll find the standby and Lightning Lane entrance toward the back right-hand corner of Animation Courtyard. Showtimes are posted outside the entrance. You’ll want to check the My Disney Experience app for exact showtimes on the day of your visit.
As far as Lightning Lanes go, there isn’t much advantage. The only true benefit I could see is if you wanted first pick of seats. By seat, I should clarify that seating is on the floor. There are a limited number of benches available on the back wall and a small area that’s standing-room only. If you did select a Lightning Lane here, you would want to arrive early and use it to beat the crowd. This should work well to secure a seat near the stage, which would be great if you wanted to see the characters up close. Other than that, I don’t know of any real advantages to using a Lightning Lane here.
I was able to stand near one of the exit doors on the back wall. As you can see from the photos, I was pretty much in the center of the room. There were about 5 or so guests who needed to exit during the performance. During the show, only one set of exit doors was available. So every few minutes someone would come up wanting to exit, and the cast member next to me would point them to another exit a few feet down. But, for whatever reason, none of the guests understood that they needed to use the other exit, and a few kept insisting on using those doors. I wouldn’t normally write about something like this, but it happened so many times that I thought our readers might want to be aware of it. Granted, if I hadn’t been standing near the doors, I wouldn’t have been aware of it either.
On the day of this visit, I got in line for the 3:55 p.m. performance at 3:39 p.m. Cast members started letting guests enter the theater at 3:40 p.m. The room was nearly full within five minutes. At 3:53 p.m., an announcement played telling guests they could exit the theater if needed. Then, the show started at 3:55 p.m. promptly.
As always with these sorts of things, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the show. Mickey and Minnie Mouse are joined by DJ Sam at Mickey’s house. They are having a party, but none of their guests have arrived. So they hit the road to find everyone, starting with a visit to Goofy’s house. Unfortunately, Goofy is having a plumbing problem, which leads to an interactive bubble moment with the audience. The good news is that DJ Sam is proficient in fixing pretty much everything (you’ll soon see), and she gets the problem resolved so Goofy can head to the party.
With Goofy on his way, Mickey and Minnie’s next stop is at Daisy’s House, where things are pretty dark. The couple has to break out a few flashlights to find Daisy, while DJ Sam checks out the breaker box.
Soon the electricity is restored, and Daisy can finish getting ready for the party.
Before Mickey and Minnie can welcome guests to their home, they have one final stop at Pluto’s house. Poor Pluto is snowed in and couldn’t leave if he tried! Luckily, DJ Sam steps in again with a way to remove the snow.
Before long, Pluto has been rescued and is ready to join the rest of the gang at Mickey’s party!
Everyone then returns to Mickey’s house for a fun-filled celebration! All of the characters, including DJ Sam, who saved the day, return to the stage for a grand finale of the Hot Dog song! We then exited the theater at approximately 4:13 p.m.

We give this attraction the green light! It’s simple to see and a great place to take a break during the hotter portion of the day. Now, if you’re not traveling with children, it’s definitely not a must-do by any means. Overall, I thought the performance was as cute as it could be and fun for everyone.
I always like to remind parents that these “little things” are often the ones that turn out to be a big deal for children. They are going to love the opportunity to sing and dance along with characters they are used to seeing on television. Here are our guidelines for our traffic signals.

Green Light
We give an attraction the green light if we consider it a must-do, regardless of the posted wait. We also give the green light for attractions we deem suitable to experience anytime. For example, some attractions have high capacities. Therefore, the lines continuously move, and you shouldn’t have a long wait unless the attraction experiences downtime.
Red Light
We recommend checking the posted wait times for red light attractions. Then, make a quick judgment call on whether to wait, skip it, or return later. We also give some attractions the red light that we feel might not be suitable based on our experience.
