Victoria and Albert’s Retains Michelin Star Rating for Three Consecutive Years
Victoria and Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has retained a Michelin Star rating for a third consecutive year in 2026. This comes after receiving their first star in 2024. Victoria and Albert’s is considered the premier restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort. In addition to the Michelin star, the restaurant holds other distinguished honors, such as the AAA Five Diamond Award (received every year since 2000) and the Forbes Travel Guide’s Five-Star Award (received every year consecutively since 2018).
As far as the history of the Michelin Guide, it was first created in the late 1800s by the Michelin brothers as a way to promote the use of motorized vehicles, which in turn led to wear and tear on tires. The idea is that readers would pick up a yearly guide and drive to these “sought-after” destinations to dine. Little did they know their guide would become one of, if not the highest, markers for distinguishing fine dining locations and other restaurants offering exceptional quality and value.

Here is what the Michelin Guide has to say about the dining experience at Victoria and Albert’s:
Nestled within Disney’s crown jewel, the Grand Floridian Resort, this restaurant is by no means an easy reservation, but the reward is a kind of magic rarely seen these days. The setting is intimate, and the pacing is that of a leisurely, three-hour waltz orchestrated by a brigade of veteran servers. This kitchen cooks with a classic foundation and global inspiration, drawing on influences spanning from Asia to the Nordics. From tuna with caviar and lychee to king salmon with mole verde or Parisian gnocchi with fontina and date, each plate is elegant and enticing. Venison braised with a juniper and porcini crust is sided by a creamy sunchoke puree for another winning dish. Other details like water lists, an ornate coffee and tea service and a serious wine program further impress.

- The Polite Pig (Disney Springs)
- Morimoto Asia (Disney Springs)
- Toledo (Gran Destino Tower)
