Christmas at Disney World

It’s no secret that Christmas at Disney World is the most merriest season of all! You can expect dazzling decor, themed snacks, and unforgettable resort displays! Of course, these are only a few of the things you’ll experience during the holiday season! If you’re planning a visit for the current season, the best place to start is here: The Ultimate Guide to Christmas at Disney World in 2025.

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom is the most festive park when it comes to decorations and the holiday spirit! If you’re planning to visit the park during the holiday season, we’ve highlighted a few details below. Our guide to the 2025 Magic Kingdom Christmas Guide dives further into every offering!

the central hub of Town Square at Magic Kingdom during Christmas

Park Decor: If you love traditional decorations, there’s nothing like Main Street U.S.A. at Christmas! We could spend hours waltzing up and down the street, trying to take everything in, even the faux snow.

Frozen Holiday Surprise: This charming castle stage show is a Christmas favorite!

Jingle Cruise: Don’t miss this popular attraction with a holiday twist!

Epcot

Epcot is unique from the other parks during the holiday season. All of the park’s offerings fall under the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. Experience holiday traditions and cuisines from around the world in the fun two-month-long holiday festival. See our 2025 Epcot Festival of the Holidays Guide for details specific to this year.

Glimmering Greenhouses: Take an evening spin on Living with the Land and its spectacular holiday overlay.

Candlelight Processional: This seasonal performance features celebrity narrators, a massed choir, and a 50-piece orchestra.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios offers the most charming holiday experience of the parks. Expect vintage decorations, classic tunes playing in the background, and lots of Hollywood glam! We love this park, especially after nightfall at Christmastime! See our 2025 guide to Christmas at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for more information.

Holiday Decor: Hollywood Studios features vintage decor. It’s often the best-dressed park!

Sunset Seasons Greetings: This projection show on the Tower of Terror is a must-see!

Toy Story Land Christmas: See fun decor and characters dressed in Christmas attire!

Frozen Sing-Along Special Ending: Olaf joins the stage for this holiday finale featuring a special song.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Don’t discount Disney’s Animal Kingdom when it comes to Christmas. This park has some of the prettiest and most unique decor. The park also offers fun additions exclusive to the holidays. We’ve highlighted a few of them below. For an overview of everything, see our 2025 Christmas Guide to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Festive Decorations: From the massive entrance tree to the stunning decorations on Discovery Island. The park comes to life at Christmas.

Merry Menagerie: Performers with artisan-sculpted puppets featuring Arctic animals interact with guests on Discovery Island.

Meet Mickey and Minnie in festive attire at Adventurer’s Outpost.

Tree of Life Awakenings: See a special holiday version as soon as the sun sets.

Disney Springs

If you’re visiting Disney Springs for the holidays, you’ll find a variety of free and paid recreational offerings. Don’t get me started on the food! We’ve listed a few highlights below, and you can see our list of things to do at Disney Springs during the 2025 holiday season for more details.

Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll: Take a walking tour of elaborately decorated trees at Disney Springs.

Meet Santa Claus: This is the only location outside of the parks where guests can meet Santa Claus.

Special Events

While these special events are part of the holiday season, it’s important to know that they require an extra cost to attend.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party: This festive party is offered on select evenings at Magic Kingdom.

Disney Jollywood Nights: This party offers unique entertainment and rare characters.

Disney Resorts

These are a few of my favorite things! We love to visit the resorts during the holidays to see the elaborate gingerbread displays, stunning trees, and to nosh on a few holiday snacks! Make sure to see our list of the best resorts to visit for the holiday season in 2025. It includes current displays and tips for accessing the resorts during your visit.

Gingerbread Displays: A selection of resorts offer gingerbread displays each year.

Holiday Decor: If you love themed decorations, you’ll want to tour a few resorts!
