How Much Do Lightning Lanes Cost at Disney World? Resorts Gal’s October 2024 Report
We now have the entire month of Lightning Lane pricing for Walt Disney World in October 2024. Last month’s report discussed how Disney removed the virtual queue requirement to ride Tron / Lightcycle Run in standby. I wish there were no major news to report this month. Unfortunately, we’ve seen a tremendous increase in pricing for October. Magic Kingdom’s Multi Pass offering hits a whopping $35.00 on 10/26/2024. That’s the highest amount since this newest Lightning Lane version debuted.
It will be interesting to see if prices remain steady or climb higher as we head into the busier months of the year. For now, I’ll leave you to review the numbers below.

Why Do We Collect This Information?
Imagine waiting in a standby line at Walt Disney World for a popular attraction. The wait is posted at 1.5 hours. All the while you’re waiting, other guests pass you by in the Lightning Lane. The longer you wait, the more people pass. It’s frustrating, especially knowing you could have paid extra to skip the line. But it’s also expensive.
When you see the total cost of Lightning Lanes in the budget you’ve created, you’ll know whether or not you can afford them ahead of time. You might skip a character meal or stay somewhere more budget-friendly to make Disney’s skip-the-line offering work for you. Of course, deciding whether it’s worth it is up to you. But you’ll have the financial facts in front of you before it’s time to make a decision.
