Disney Imagineering Shares First Image of New Test Track Marquee at Epcot
As you may recall, Test Track, presented by General Motors, closed last summer at Epcot. A reimagined version of the ride is expected to open sometime in 2025. This morning, Walt Disney Imagineering shared that a new marquee had been installed. According to their Instagram announcement, the design echoes the attraction’s architecture, while incorporating the new logo in illuminated letters that will look amazing both during the day and at night.
Here’s a look at the concept art released last year compared to an image of the actual installed signage.

Disney has shared the following regarding the new 3.0 version of the attraction.
Walt Disney Imagineering is collaborating with Chevrolet to push innovation forward and celebrate humanity’s enduring drive (pun intended) on the thrilling road to a brighter tomorrow. But, before we get too far down this winding road, Test Track will celebrate today’s innovation while highlighting the past, present, and future. The queue will feature six distinct exhibits, and within each room celebrate the vehicles – and people behind the vehicles – that push the envelope and help get people to our next chapter in our motion journey.
New show scenes will be added showcasing technological advances and how our lifestyles and relationships to mobility connect everyone. Enjoy a joy ride through scenes focusing on onboard technology, customization and personalization. Followed by a trip through a scenic outdoor route reminding us all of the joys of driving, taking in the world around us and spending quality time with friends and family.

Whether you’re new to the world of Disney or a seasoned pro in search of a new adventure, their goal is to help you plan a tailor-made experience like no other. Check with our travel partner, Firefly Travels, to begin planning.
