Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts (Riverside and French Quarter) are uniquely decorated for the Christmas holidays. French Quarter offers a Mardi-Gras-inspired look with vibrant purples, golds, and greens, while Riverside has traditional decorations that lend more elegant than extravagant.
Below, we’ll preview a few photos of both resort’s holiday decorations. While I don’t necessarily think these resorts are worth visiting for the sole purpose of seeing the Christmas decor, you might make a multi-purpose trip. For instance, you could visit the French Quarter for beignets, see the Christmas decorations, and then walk along the river to see the holiday decor at Riverside.
Christmas at Port Orleans Riverside
At Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside, a giant tree sits in the center of the resort’s lobby. It’s a traditional tree with white lights and a mix of decorations.
Magnolias rest in the branches.
Hydrangeas are placed delicately throughout the tree.
The resort’s check-in area has strands of garland between the decorative columns throughout the lobby.
Here are a few other photos.
Christmas at Port Orleans French Quarter
At Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter, you’re greeted by gorgeous wreaths hanging from the light poles as you approach the resort’s back entrance.
Inside, each corner of the lobby has a beautifully decorated tree.
Here are a few photos of the decorations at the French Quarter.
