Walt Disney World is the perfect place for a family vacation. But it’s also a great destination for fitness enthusiasts!
If you’re a fitness buff, you know that it can be hard to find time for the gym when traveling. Additionally, hotel gyms are often tiny and crowded, and they don’t always have all of the equipment you’ll need to get in a good workout.
The good news is, that every Fitness Center at the Walt Disney World offers guests access to state-of-the-art equipment. Plus, all gyms are in a relaxing environment with plenty of room for stretching out between sets.
These resort gyms or health clubs provide more opportunities than ever before to stay active during your vacation! Below we’ll take a look at all the Fitness Centers at Disney World along with where you can find them.

Since I spend so much time at the resorts, I have visited and worked out at most of the fitness centers listed above.
Therefore I thought it would be helpful to provide a few photos for anyone who has an upcoming trip and wants to add some exercise into their vacation plans.
These resort gyms are some of the best-kept secrets in all of Disney World. Seriously, I have yet to visit one that’s been crowded.
Most of the time, I’ve had the whole place to myself. Granted, I don’t get up early to work out, so I can’t say whether or not there’s an early bird rush.
We’ll start with the Zahanti Fitness Center at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
While all of the fitness centers at Disney are suitable sizes, this is one of the largest I’ve visited.
The treadmills look out toward the resort’s pool area.
And there is a variety of equipment available for guests.

Moving over to the Crescent Lake area, we have the Ship Shape Health Club. This fitness center is shared between Disney’s Beach Club and Disney’s Yacht Club.
One of my favorite things here is that the aerobics machines face out to Stormalong Bay. Stormalong Bay is the pool area that’s shared between the resorts. If you aren’t familiar, it ranks in our top spot for the best pools at Disney World.
Across the water, Disney’s Boardwalk Inn has a large workout facility tucked in between the pool area and the breezeway out to the boardwalk.
Muscles and Bustles gym has plenty of equipment.
And an excellent selection of free weights.
You can even get a few rounds in on the old squat press if you like.
Here is another angle that better captures the size of this Disney World fitness center.

Our next stop is the only moderate resort at Disney World that offers a gym, Coronado Springs. This resort has two gyms, making it the only one with two fitness centers at Disney World.
The first is the La Vida Health Club and Spa. Here is a look inside.
If you would like to get in a kettlebell workout or use an exercise ball, there is plenty of open space.
The other fitness center at Coronado Springs is located in Gran Destino Tower.
Per the sign, guests of the resort have 24-hour access to this exercise facility.
And you can see, it’s another sizable fitness center.
I don’t think anyone can complain about the number of weights available either.
Remember how I said these gyms were rarely crowded?
If you would like to learn more about this hotel, I have a review of our stay at Gran Destino Tower.

Those staying at Grand Floridian or the Polynesian will have access to the Senses Health Club at the Grand Floridian. Both resorts share this gym.
Senses is located right outside the Grand Floridian Villas, the closest building to the Polynesian. The walk from the Polynesian to the Grand Floridian is short and pleasant.

This gym is basically one large room that’s full of equipment.
Outside there’s a basketball and tennis court if you want to get up a game while staying here.
While I don’t have a picture of the inside, here is the entrance to Sturdy Branches Health Club at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Sturdy Branches is down on the Boulder Ridge side of the resort, so you might want to locate it on the map before heading over.
Over at Saratoga Springs, the Health Club is located at The Springs area of the resort. It’s in a large building behind the carriage house. On my last visit, I stepped in to take a few pictures.
Everyone was out at the pool on this hot afternoon.

Saratoga Springs has an impressive gym.
Lastly, I have a few photos of the fitness center at Disney’s Riviera Resort. It is called the Athletique Fitness Center.
It sits on the lower level of the hotel behind the Beau Soleil pool.
