Classic Characters Show Off Western Wear at DVC Member Event
Disney Vacation Club has shared a few photos of classic characters in Western wear at the 2026 Welcome Home Weeks event at Walt Disney World. This special character opportunity takes place at the Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s Boardwalk on select dates between now and August 28th. Eligible members can meet characters like Mickey and Minnie, Chip and Dale, and Donald with Daisy Duck at the event.
How to Participate in This Character Event
Here are the details on how to participate in this year’s event along with a list of remaining dates.
Walt Disney World Resort
- Location: Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s BoardWalk
- Times: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Parking: There is no Resort parking for this event. Members are strongly encouraged to use Walt Disney World Resort transportation.

- August 26th
Eligibility: Members eligible for Membership Extras with a Resort reservation at Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort or Aulani Resort, plus 4 Guests (or the number of additional Guests on the reservation).
A valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID are required at event check-in. The Member listed on the Digital Membership Card must be in attendance.
Classic Characters Rock Western Chic Looks
Lastly, we have a look at what to expect! Mickey and Minnie Mouse wear red, white, and blue Western chic outfits. Minnie has a bright blue dress with red accents and a stunning pair of cowgirl boots! Mickey sports a brown vest with a blue bowtie.
Donald and Daisy are wearing matching brown suede and turquoise outfits. Daisy has a pretty belt accent, while Donald sports some fun fringe. All of the characters are wearing cowboy hats!
Chip and Dale are also present. They are wearing denim vests with their names stitched in rope detailing.
