2026 Welcome Home Weeks Dates and Details for Walt Disney World

If you’re an eligible Disney Vacation Club member, you’ll likely be happy to learn that Welcome Home Weeks is returning to Walt Disney World from July 22nd through August 26, 2026. This year’s event promises tasty treats, character meet-and-greets, and other special experiences on select dates. You can also take advantage of a few enhanced discounts!

Below, we’ve listed this year’s Welcome Home Weeks offerings for Walt Disney World. Note that additional offerings are available at other select Disney Vacation Club properties. For this article, we’re strictly focused on what Disney World. On a side note, we actually used last year’s guide during our visits to remember what options are available. We took advantage of ice cream treats and multiple dining discounts. So make sure to set a reminder and bookmark this year’s guide to reference during your vacation. With so much going on, these little things can be easy to forget.

Complimentary Ice Cream Treats for Welcome Home Weeks

DVC members will find complimentary ice cream novelties like the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar, ice cream sandwiches, and fruit bars at select locations across the Walt Disney World Resort. Exact dates and details will be announced at a future date. We’ll add them below when we know more.

Welcome Home Wake Up

Members are also invited to mingle with other members for coffee and treats at the following select Walt Disney World locations.

Walt Disney World Resort

• Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
  • Location: Top of the World Lounge
  • Dates: Fridays and Saturdays, starting July 24, 2026
  • Times: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
    
• Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
  • Location: Reunion Station
  • Dates: Saturdays and Sundays, starting July 25, 2026
  • Times: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Terms and Conditions: Limit of one Welcome Home Wakeup per week, per Member, while supplies last. A valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID are required at event check-in. The Member listed on the Digital Membership Card must be in attendance. Valid park admission and park reservation required for in-park locations.

Eligibility: Members eligible for Membership Extras with a Resort reservation at the same Resort where the event is being held (on an event date) may attend, plus 4 Guests (or the number of additional Guests on the reservation). Eligible Resorts include:

• Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
• Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
• Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Welcome Home Weeks Character Opportunities

DVC members will be able to participate in a special character meet-and-greet on select dates at Disney’s BoardWalk.

Walt Disney World Resort

• Location: Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s BoardWalk
• Dates: July 22, July 27 through July 28, August 4 through August 5, August 12 through August 13, August 17 through August 18, and August 26, 2026
• Times: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Parking: There is no Resort parking for this event. Members are strongly encouraged to use Walt Disney World Resort transportation.

Eligibility: Members eligible for Membership Extras with a Resort reservation at Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort or Aulani Resort, plus 4 Guests (or the number of additional Guests on the reservation).

A valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID are required at event check-in. The Member listed on the Digital Membership Card must be in attendance.

Dining Discounts for Welcome Home Weeks in 2026

Enjoy 40% off food and nonalcoholic beverages at select Table-Service restaurants at Walt Disney Resort on select dates. Last year, we took advantage of this discount for dinner at Hollywood and Vine during Minnie’s Halloween Dine. We also enjoyed dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe with a few friends. It looks like a few new options are on the list for this year. We’ll definitely be considering a visit to Trattoria al Forno.

• Members eligible for Membership Extras, plus up to 3 Guests, unless otherwise noted
• Valid during each location’s regular dining hours, unless otherwise noted. Offer valid for dine-in customers only and excludes to-go.
• Not valid on certain menu items, special events or packages (e.g., EPCOT Dining Packages, etc.) and may not be combined with any other discount, offer or promotion.
• Discount is off the regular price of food and nonalcoholic beverages, excluding tax and gratuity.
• Subject to change without notice.
