Copper Creek Villas and Cabins To Undergo Refurbishment in 2025
Walt Disney World has announced that the Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will undergo refurbishment between May and September of 2025. This is in addition to the already posted exterior refurbishment notice that began in August 2024. The new refurbishment notice reads:
From mid-May 2025 to September 2025, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will undergo refurbishment. While all Resort amenities will remain available, you may notice refurbishment work during daytime hours.

Here is the current resort refurbishment notice for the work that began last August.
Starting August 5, 2024, Copper Creek Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will undergo exterior refurbishment work. During this time, Guests may see and hear construction work during daytime hours.

Copper Creek Villas & Cabins is one of two Disney Vacation Club Resorts at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. The other DVC Resort, Boulder Ridge Villas, completed a hard goods refurbishment in 2023. For reference, DVC Resorts undergo a soft or hard goods refurbishment approximately every seven years.
Since Copper Creek Villas opened in July 2017, it’s time for its first soft goods refurbishment. This is where subtle changes are made in the rooms along with repairs, touch-up paint, etc. After this work is completed, Copper Creek will likely undergo a hard goods refurbishment somewhere around 2032.
