New Menu Items Announced for Ale and Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club
Several new items will debut at Ale and Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club, starting tomorrow, July 22nd. Per Disney Eats, guests can expect delicious new items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Below, we’ll take a look at these items, but it’s worth noting that several things appear to be menu highlights of existing items. Let’s take a closer look at what the updated menu will offer!
New Ale and Compass Menu Items
Item: Stuffed French Toast (New)
Service: Breakfast
Description: This stuffed French Toast comes with vanilla stuffing and is topped with a seasonal compote.

Item: Crab Cake Eggs Benedict
Service: Breakfast
Description: Poached eggs served with pan-seared crab cakes and Hollandaise sauce.

Item: Dark Chocolate Waffles
Service: Breakfast
Description: Dried cherry compote, espresso-mascarpone cream, chocolate shavings
For reference, the dark chocolate waffles are one of our all-time favorite breakfasts at Disney World. They were even on the menu at the Captain’s Grille over a decade ago before it became Ale and Compass. While I know they sound like a decadent menu item, they are surprisingly the perfect balance of sweet and savory. We order them every time we stay at the Yacht or Beach Club. This item is included in our review of breakfast at Ale and Compass.

The following items are available for lunch and dinner:
Item: Blue Crab Bisque (New)
Service: Lunch and Dinner
Description: Chili oil, sherry reduction, jumbo lump crab (available lunch and dinner)
We’ve enjoyed the Blue Crab Bisque at Ale and Compass many times, but this appears to be a new version with the jumbo lump crab sitting in the center. This menu item’s description also varies from the current version.

Item: Steak Frites (New)
Service: Lunch Only
Description: Grilled 12-oz New York steak, shoestring fries, au poivre sauce
This new addition adds a casual steak option with fries to the lunch menu. A New York Strip with more refined sides is available on the dinner menu.

Item: Maryland-style Crab Cake (New)
Service: Lunch and Dinner
Description: Corn purée, tomato succotash, roasted baby red potatoes, spicy aïoli
This item will likely replace the current Jumbo Lump Crab Cake that’s been on the menu for quite some time. It’s included in a lunch review of Ale and Compass from a few years back.

Item: New England Seafood Pot Pie (New)
Service: Dinner Only
Description: Shrimp, scallops, jumbo lump crab, fish, baby vegetables, brandy-cream sauce, flaky crust
This appears to be a new version of the New England Seafood Pot Pie that’s currently available. The new description removes mention of the “catch of the day” and “baby vegetables.” Here is the current description for reference: Shrimp, Scallops, Jumbo Lump Crab, Catch of the Day, Baby Vegetables, Brandy-Cream Sauce, House-baked Crust. If you’ve had the pot pie before, you can tell this new option is visibly different.

Item: Banana Crème Brûlée
Service: Dinner
Description: Brûléed banana, banana cream, puff pastry, raspberry sauce

Item: Peanut Butter-Marshmallow Cup (Plant-Based and New)
Service: Dinner
Description: Plant-based peanut butter mousse, potato meringue, chocolate shell

Item: Boston Cream Pie
Service: Dinner
Description: Vanilla chiffon, vanilla bean mousse, chocolate glaçage, raspberry sauce
