Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge First Wave Experience: Dates, Points and Booking Details
Disney Vacation Club Members will have an opportunity to be among the first guests to stay at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge before the new hotel officially opens to the public. Disney Vacation Club announced that this member-exclusive “First Wave” experience will take place from June 24th through June 27th (2027). The experience includes a stay at Lakeshore Lodge, three-day park tickets with Park Hopper, several dining experiences, a $200 Disney Dining Promo Card per person, special insights into the new resort, and commemorative keepsakes.
Reservations open Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time and must be made by calling Disney Vacation Club Member Services. The experience will take place just days before Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is scheduled to officially open on July 1, 2027. What Comes With the First Wave Experience
The following items are included with the First Wave experience at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge:
- A 4-day, 3-night stay at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge
- A 3-day Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket with the Park Hopper option for each Guest, ages 3 and older
- DVC Event-Exclusive dining, including:
- One dinner at Moonglade, the Resort hotel’s new table-service restaurant
- One breakfast at Pioneer Hall
- One dinner at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
- A $200 Disney Dining Promo Card, per person, ages 3 and older
- Insights into the making of Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge
- Commemorative keepsakes
Per the announcement, guests will be able to enjoy an exciting itinerary during their stay at Lakeshore Lodge. Itinerary details, including curated event experiences, will be released and bookable at a later date.
When Is the Lakeshore Lodge First Wave Experience?

How Many Points Are Needed for the First Wave Experience
The number of reservation points required for the First Wave Experience varies considerably by accommodation. The published requirements include the first and second guests in the same accommodation.

How to Book the First Wave Experience
Booking for this special experience begins on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. DVC Members must call Member Services:

*Reservations cannot be made online for this experience. When members call to book, they should have the following information available:
- Membership number
- First, second, and third room preferences
- Legal names and middle initials
- Ages
- Telephone number
- Special medical needs
- Payment information
Important Information
Disney Vacation Club notes the following details:
- Disney Vacation Club Members must be eligible for Membership Extras benefits in order to book the Member “First Wave” Experience at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge. Anyone on the Membership, including Associates, can make a reservation.
- Member Services will collect full payment at the time of booking; please have your payment method prepared.
- This Member-exclusive experience at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is part of the Disney Collection exchange, and its points chart is based upon Double Occupancy. Payment for the first and second Guests in the travel party (with at least one of those Guests being the primary/lead on the reservation) must be made using only Reservation Points. Payment for other members of the travel party can be made using cash or Reservation Points. (Reservation Points and cash cannot be combined to pay for an individual Guest.)
- Call Member Services at (800) 800-9800 or (407) 566-3800† to reserve your room. Booking requests will not be accepted by fax, email, live chat or Member Online Booking—or in person at Disney Vacation Club Member Lounges and Welcome Home Center locations.
- Additional fees may apply for Resort recreational activities.
- Disney Vacation Club will waive the initial $95 transaction fee associated with booking your reservation for the Member “First Wave” Experience at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge.
- Disney Vacation Club will accept the following methods of payment for Members not using Reservation Points to book their stay: Disney Gift Card, JCB, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. If paying by credit card, please have the credit card number, expiration date and the name that appears on the card available. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Effective March 21, 2011, Members who do not acquire their ownership interests directly from Disney will not be able to use those Vacation Points to make reservations for the “First Wave” Experience. Effective June 3, 2021, to obtain an eligible Disney Vacation Club Membership Card, Members must have a Membership consisting of one or more ownership interests purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, LLC, and symbolized by a combined total of at least 150 Vacation Points.
- Eligible Members may book a maximum of 2 rooms per Membership.
- The Rule of Four does not apply when booking the Disney Vacation Club Member “First Wave” Experience at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge.
- In the event of a sold-out Member “First Wave” Experience, eligible Members may join a waitlist. To inquire, please call Member Services.
