Disney’s Polynesian Island Tower (Sale Date, 2024-2025 Points Chart, and Virtual Tours Released)

Disney has released new information about the upcoming Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas. The announcement includes the initial sales dates for existing DVC members and the public, a points chart that includes units in the Island Tower for 2024-2025, and virtual tours of a few units. Below, we’ll discuss what we know about each item, starting with a timeline of the sale dates.

Disney Vacation Club members can begin purchasing contracts for the Island Tower at the Polynesian Village Resort on October 1, 2024. The Disney Parks Blog has shared a timeline of the process, including initial sales and the grand opening of the Island Tower Resort. Here’s the announcement from Disney:

Disney Vacation Club will begin offering a new opportunity to call Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows home as the beloved resort expands with the new Island Tower addition, opening on December 17. Located on the picturesque shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon at Walt Disney World Resort, the beautiful expansion will embrace the resort’s theming and immerse guests in the adventurous spirit of the South Pacific islands.  

Sales will open to current members on October 1 and the public on October 29.

The timeline reads:

• October 1, 2024: Sales begin for current Disney Vacation Club members.
• October 15, 2024: Current and add-on Disney Vacation Club members at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows can book with vacation points.
• October 29, 2024: Sales open to the public.
• November 5, 2024: New members at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows can book with vacation points.
• November 19, 2024: All members can book with vacation points.
• December 17, 2024: Grand Opening of the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows.

Available units include:

• Duo Studio (Sleeps up to 2 Guests)
• Deluxe Studio (Sleeps up to 4 Guests)
• One-Bedroom (Sleeps up to 5 Guests)
• Two-Bedroom (Sleeps up to 9 Guests)
• Two-Bedroom Penthouse Villas (Sleeps up to 8 Guests)
