Photos: Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Exterior Refurbishment Update (June 2026)
We stopped by Disney’s Yacht Club earlier this week and found that the resort’s exterior refurbishment was progressing nicely. As a reminder, we provided a photo update back in March, when the far left side of the resort was covered in extensive scaffolding. Since then, the work in that specific area has been completed. Scaffolding has now moved to the area that surrounds the gazebo and what I like to call the bunny garden. I have a few fond memories from past stays where I spent a significant time on our balcony, watching the bunnies play below.
Fond memories aside, we’ll start with a view of the Yacht Club from across the lake. The photo below makes me cringe because it is such a lovely capture, except for the scaffolding. Isn’t it ironic?

Here we have a closer look at the area that’s receiving new siding as of early June.

The angle below shows that the entire area behind the gazebo is now under refurbishment.

Beyond that, the opposite side of the resort is complete.

It’s looking better than ever.

Here’s a closer look at the finished siding and new awnings.

Additionally, the area near the Admiral Pool (the resort’s quiet pool) has also been completed. The Admiral Pool is now open, along with the laundry room and tennis courts.

We stepped out of the main entrance and found that both sides of the resort had scaffolding. You may remember that the port cochere’s at both the Yacht and Beach Club were completely redone about this time last year.

Here is the front left side of the resort if you’re facing it from the main entrance.

We also noticed some scaffolding in the room area that faces Stormalong Bay.

Here’s a closer look at the area.

Overall, I believe that after the current areas are finished, work will move on to the resort-side entrance.

It appears that the area shown below will be the main area yet to be completed.

As a refresher, the exterior refurbishment at Disney’s Yacht Club is expected to last through late 2026. At present, the resort’s signature dining location, the Yachtsman Steakhouse, is closed for a refurbishment until August. Crew’s Cup, the adjacent lounge, is now open after being closed since February.
In case you missed it, we also stopped at Disney’s Beach Club for a photo update of the exterior scaffolding in early June. The Yacht Club is far more ahead of the Beach Club’s exterior refurbishment. Work at the Beach Club is expected to last through late 2027. We’ll have a few more updates around the resorts in the coming weeks. Check back with Resorts Gal for more details.
