Donald’s Double Feature at Disney’s All-Star Movies Now Under Refurbishment
Walt Disney World has announced that a refurbishment is taking place at Donald’s Double Feature, the resort gift shop at Disney’s All-Star Movies. The gift shop is expected to remain open while the work is being completed. Here is the official statement from Walt Disney World:
Beginning in May 2026, refurbishment work will take place at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. Donald’s Double Feature merchandise shop will undergo a phased refurbishment through late August and will remain open during this work.
This is the last of the three All-Star Resorts gift shops to receive a refresh. In the past two years, we’ve seen updates at both Goofy’s Sports Gifts at All-Star Sports and Maestro Mickey’s at All-Star Music. You may remember that last year we shared a photo post of Maestro Mickey’s new look after the refurbishment. Both resort gift shops transitioned from carpet to solid surface flooring during their updates. Other updates included new paint and fixtures. We expect to see similar changes at Donald’s Double Feature.
If you’re visiting Disney’s All-Star Movies in the upcoming months, make sure you’re aware that a room refurbishment is also taking place at the resort through January 2027. We’ll take a look at those rooms when they debut.
As a reminder, Donald’s Double Feature will remain open during the refurbishment. Typically, sections of the store are closed while work is being completed. If you have a need for something, our best advice is to ask a cast member. They are always more than glad to help. You also have the option to walk between the resorts. The gift shop at Disney’s All-Star Music will be the closest walking distance from All-Star Movies.
