What to Expect at Epcot’s GoofyCore for Cool Kids Summer
GoofyCore has returned to Epcot for the 2026 Cool Kids Summer! This limited-time offering provides an air-conditioned space for kids to let loose with Goofy and the rest of the Goof Troop. You’ll find GoofyCore inside CommuniCore Hall in the World Celebration park area. Goofy has taken over the space and is expected to remain through September 8th. We stopped by over the weekend to check things out. Let’s take a look!

GoofyCore Schedule
GoofyCore is open daily at Epcot. Showtimes were posted outside the entrance:
- 10:30 a.m.
- 11:30 a.m.
- 12:30 p.m.
- 1:30 p.m.
- 3:15 p.m.
- 4:15 p.m.
- 5:15 p.m.

That said, you don’t have to be there at any given time. This afternoon, we just so happened to walk in during the middle of a performance. A cast member was standing outside the entrance, encouraging guests to join in on the fun. Speaking of fun, it’s the first word that comes to mind as soon as you set foot inside GoofyCore. It was immediately apparent that everyone was having a blast.
The second word that came to mind was cool. It felt great to get out of the heat. We ended up grabbing a cushy seat near the wall to take a break and observe a few activities. When we first arrived, the Goof Troop (Cast Members dressed in wacky outfits) had a parachute out. They were playing Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks. This is basically just a series of activities that you do with the parachute. It reminded me of P.E. in elementary school. It was also a huge reminder of how simple things can be so fun.
After the parachute game ended, a DJ named DJ Dance Pants took over! They played a matching game in which he rolled the dice. When the object appeared on the screen, the children would scramble to find a matching icon on the carpet. It was too cute.
We didn’t stay for the entire showtime, but other activities include Goofy Says and Balloon Bonanza.

If your children don’t care for the crowd, the opposite side of the room offers an additional unsupervised space to burn off a little energy.

Oh, and before I forget. Goofy was there. During our visit, Goofy made 2-3 appearances. He joined in on some of the fun and games. At other times, he was circling the room, giving high-fives, and interacting with others. That said, it was all very casual. This is not a formal meet-and-greet.

On a subsequent visit, we stopped in and found Goofy and his son, Max Goof, joining in on the fun. During this visit, they played games like The Floor Is Lava and Red Light, Green Light.

Final Thoughts
Overall, GoofyCore is a wonderful place to let kids be kids, and an even better place to let parents take a break. If you’re visiting Epcot this summer, make sure to keep this space in mind. Don’t be surprised if your kids ask to return again and again. They are gonna love it!
Oh, and if you need a snack while you’re in the area, don’t miss the Grab ‘n’ Goof window that sits next to this experience. We recently stopped by and tried an order of chicken Goof Ups (chicken and fried cheese curds). They were a great value at less than $10.00 and the perfect snack for both children and adults.
Also, if you’re visiting Magic Kingdom, you might like to check out Jessie’s Roundup at the Diamond Horseshoe. It’s a similar type of offering, only with Toy Story characters and arts and crafts.
