What to Expect at Jessie’s Roundup at the Diamond Horseshoe
Jessie’s Roundup is now open for Disney’s Cool Kids Summer at Magic Kingdom! This limited-time offering provides an air-conditioned space for kids to play games and interact with Jessie, Woody, and other Toy Story friends. Jessie’s Roundup is located at the Diamond Horseshoe in Liberty Square. Typically, this space is a restaurant, but it temporarily closed to make way for this special summer activation. We stopped by earlier this week to check things out. Let’s take a look at what you can expect.

Jessie’s Roundup
When we first arrived, the show was in full swing, and the place was packed. As you can see from the photo below, adults were sitting and standing around the room. Most of the children were in the center of the room interacting with Jessie and Woody, who were performing a song.

Within just a few minutes, the show ended, and the cast went backstage. It didn’t take long for the majority of the room to clear out. Guests like me who had just arrived were able to find a seat.

A cast member told us that the next show would begin in about 15-20 minutes. Everyone was invited to play along with some of the games and activities while waiting.

There was also a place where you could get your own deputy badge. There was a deputy name for every Toy Story character. I picked Bo Peep and got Cyclone.

True to time, a performer appeared on stage with Bullseye about 20 minutes later. They performed a song and dance number on stage.

After the first song, they both joined the crowd and performed another song. This time, Bullseye worked his way around the room, interacting with guests.

After this interaction, both Bullseye and the guitarist disappeared backstage. A couple of cast members stayed during this break to play a few games. They let everyone know that a few fun friends would be back in about five minutes. For the next set, Jessie appeared on stage. She sang a song for the audience.

After the first number, it was time for a popular song that most Toy Story fans know, Hey, Howdy Hey! As you can imagine, Woody soon joined Jessie on the stage.

Shortly thereafter, they both joined the audience for another song-and-dance.

Final Thoughts
Overall, Jessie’s Roundup is a few addition to the park’s summer schedule. If you’re visiting this Magic Kingdom between now and September 8th, make sure to stop in and check it out. In case you missed it, we also recently stopped in Goofycore at Epcot, which is another great place to interact with classic characters in an air-conditioned space this summer!
