The Meadow Trading Post at Disney’s Fort Wilderness

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is home to two gift shops, the Meadow Trading Post and the Settlement Trading Post. The Meadow Trading Post is located in the center of the resort in an area called the Meadow. This is where you’ll find major recreational activities like the two feature pools, various sports courts, bike rentals, and the campfire sing-along, among other things. The Meadow Trading Post sits front and center of the Meadow area, directly facing the bus stop.

Below, we’ve provided an overview with photos of staple items that you’ll typically find at the Meadow Trading Post. We’ve also included links to our resort merchandise reports. Please note that both the Settlement and Meadow gift shops offer the same inventory of staples that you might want or need at your campsite. The only real differences between the shops are their locations and operating hours.

The Meadow Trading Post is typically open from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. However, you will want to check the exact operating hours during your visit. There are times when the hours might be slightly adjusted.

🛍️ What You’ll Find at the Meadow Trading Post

We’ve listed an overview of what you’ll find at the Meadow Trading Post below. Please note that most clothing and souvenir items are only in stock for a limited time. You can find pictures of our most recent merchandise posts in our photo reports listed further down. The main focus of this gift shop page is to offer an idea of what you will find, especially if you need something in a pinch.

Apparel

Like all gift shops, the Meadow Trading Post offers a variety of adult and children’s apparel. If you need a sweatshirt, bathing suit, or a new hat, the gift shop offers a decent selection of clothing items.

Souvenirs and Resort-Branded Merchandise

Typically, we see resort-branded merchandise on display near the front of the store. It’s not uncommon to find Fort Wilderness merchandise featuring Chip and Dale. They are pretty popular around the resort. Our photo reports contain pictures of ear headbands, backpacks, outdoor chairs, coffee mugs, picture frames, and other items we’ve seen branded with the Fort Wilderness logo.

Pantry and Grocery Items at the Meadow

Here are a few grocery items that are typically available:

• Individual bottled Water, Soft Drinks, Juice, etc.
• Wine and Beer (available to guests 21+)
• Packaged Snacks (Chips, Granola Bars, Crackers, Cereal)
• Bread (Loaf Bread, Donuts, Pastries)
• Disney-branded Candy
• Refrigerated items (Milk, Juice, Yogurt, Sandwich Meat)
• Sandwich Meat, Peanut Butter, Canned Goods
• Frozen Meals (Pizza, Microwave Dinners, etc.)
• Campfire Essentials

We’ve included photos below of pantry items that were available on our last visit. These items rarely change. If you can’t find something, always ask a cast member about availability. Most of the resorts have items that are not on display, such as gallon jugs of sterilized water for sleeping machines.

Health and Personal Care

Expect to find items like:

• Over-the-Counter Medications (Tylenol, Allergy Relief, etc.)
• Sunscreen and Aloe
• Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Razors, and Hygiene Products
• Baby essentials like Diapers, Wipes, Baby Food, Etc.

Seasonal Merchandise

Throughout the year, features limited-time items related to:

• Holidays (Halloween, Christmas, etc.)
• The latest special collections, trends, or collaborations.

ℹ️ Helpful Tips

• Hours may vary. Most resort gift shops stay open until 10:00 or 11:00 p.m. (FYI: The Settlement is typically open a little later, and the Meadow opens earlier.)
• All guests (resort or visiting) are welcome to shop at any resort gift shop.
• This is a fun place to stop in when you need a break from the heat!
