Impressions de France Set to Reopen in Mid-May at Epcot
Per the Walt Disney World website, Impressions de France is set to reopen on May 10, 2026, at Epcot. This endearing French film, housed inside the Palais du Cinema, is typically offered first thing in the morning and then again in the evening, starting at 7:00 p.m. Throughout the remainder of the day, a Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along is offered. The attraction has been closed since February.
We are big fans of Impressions de France and think that it’s one of those things that most guests can appreciate. As someone who intentionally stops in to see the film a couple of times a year, I am glad to see its return. Disney has not announced what, if any, changes were made to the interior theater. That said, there have been a couple of times within the last year when we were turned away from seeing the film because the curtain was broken. So hopefully, other than the film, everything is good as new.
We’ll also be interested to see if any changes were made to the exhibit that sits in the theater’s lobby, called Tales As Old As Time: French Storytelling on Stage and Screen. We always enjoy seeing the gallery of cases that hold costumes and set pieces from popular films, operas, and plays.

If you haven’t had a chance to see Impressions de France, we can’t recommend it enough. Of course, with the other cartoon playing most of the day, you might have to go a little bit out of your way to see it. But we think it’s worth it, especially for the nostalgic.
