New Zombie Holiday Mug Coming to Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Just when you thought you had no more room to spare on the shelf featuring all your favorite tiki mugs from Trader Sam’s, a new mug has been announced. This holiday season, lucky guests will be able to purchase a new Holiday Zombie Mug from Trader Sam’s Grog Groggo at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. It will have two versions (reading between the lines: you’re gonna need a bigger shelf): gold and red thread.

Update: This mug is available at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, starting November 18, 2025. It is sold with the Mistletoe Mishap beverage: Ghost Reposado Tequila, DOLE Pineapple Juice, coconut milk, and lemon. Limit two (2) per person, per transaction. Available while supplies last.

Yes, it’s green, wearing a Santa Claus hat, and it’s the cutest kind of creepy. This item was announced during this afternoon’s What’s Cooking with Disney Eats panel at Destination D23, where several new and upcoming novelty items were revealed. This was the only item that we saw related to the Walt Disney World Resort.
