Elastigirl Is Meeting Solo at Pixar Plaza (Disney’s Hollywood Studios)
It’s summer, and you know what that means. The kids are out of school and must be supervised. On a recent visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we found Elastigirl meeting without Mr. Incredible. Formerly, guests could meet Mr. and Mrs. Incredible here as a duo.
However, we were told that Mr. Incredible had taken over chaperoning the kids for summer break. From what I understood, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack have a busy summer lined up. So, kind of like in the last movie, Elastigirl is playing the role of a working mom while Mr. Incredible stays home with the kids for a change.
So, if you visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios this summer, you’ll likely have the opportunity to meet Elastigirl without her other half. She is an incredible character to meet! (No pun intended, we love her!)
Elastigirl meets intermittently throughout the day at Pixar Plaza, located in the former Pixar Place past Walt Disney Presents. It’s in the corner before you make a right to enter Toy Story Land’s main entrance. Elastigirl signs autographs at this location, and a PhotoPass photographer was available on the day of our visit. As always, we recommend checking the My Disney Experience app for exact times and locations on the day of your visit. Disney stresses that characters are entertainment, and entertainment is subject to change. We check on the meet-and-greets regularly and find that most are consistent. But it’s also important to know that things can change. Here’s how we find the characters:
How to Locate Characters in the My Disney Experience App
- Open the MDE app and select the pin drop at the bottom of the home screen.
- Select the “Characters” category at the top middle of the screen. (The default is “Wait Times”.)
- After selecting characters, use the park filter to select the park on the top left side of the screen.
- Then, on the top right side of the screen, select “Show List.”
- Scroll through the list of characters with their times and locations.
*As the day passes, you might notice that characters disappear from the app. When their last scheduled time passes, the meet-and-greet automatically disappears. A new schedule won’t be loaded until the following day. It is essential to check the app for meet-and-greets on the day of your visit.
