The Gift Shops at Disney’s BoardWalk to Undergo Refurbishment in 2025
Disney has announced that the gift shops at Disney’s BoardWalk would undergo an extensive refurbishment in 2025. The gift as a whole will remain open through the refurbishment, with some sections closed as work is completed. This notice is regarding the extended gift shop with three entrances. Each shop has a unique name: Screen Door General Store, Character Carnival, and Thimbles and Threads. Here is the official announcement from Disney:
From January 2025 through May 2025, the merchandise locations along Disney’s BoardWalk will be refurbished in phases. Two merchandise locations will remain available for Guests throughout the refurbishment. During this time, Guests may see and hear construction activity in the area.
