Disney Delays Beak and Barrel Reservations at Magic Kingdom
Guests who are eager to make reservations for the new Beak and Barrel lounge in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland will have to wait a little longer. The initial reservation process has been delayed again. Per a new statement, reservations will set sail the week of August 18, 2025. Here is the official wording:
“Arrgh! Too many pirates tried to pillage The Beak and Barrel. Thank you for your patience. Come back for the treasure ye seek when reservations set sail the week of August 18, 2025.“
You may remember that reservations were expected to become available on August 14, 2025, but have been delayed due to technical difficulties. Disney has updated their website with the following statement:
Due to technical difficulties, reservations for Beak & Barrel will not launch today. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please check back for updates.

The pirates-themed lounge is expected to officially welcome guests later this month, on August 29, 2025. Of course, when Disney originally announced the reservation date, they made the joke that patrons would want to secure their spot or else they might end up having to walk the plank. It appears that fans across the board took them seriously. We’ve seen numerous reports of guests spending hours attempting to make reservations!
Unfortunately, we do not know when this offering will be available, but we will continue to keep an eye out in the meantime! For more on what we know about this new, family-friendly lounge, you might like to preview the initial menu for The Beak and Barrel or take a first look at the merchandise for Beak and Barrel.
For more on the upcoming lounge, we have the following coverage:
- The Beak and Barrel opening date was announced last month.
- We first learned the name of the pirates-themed lounge earlier this year.
- Disney has announced that the Beak and Barrel will remain open during Mickey’s Halloween Party. Guests will need reservations.
