Disney Lakeshore Lodge

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will be Disney’s newest resort hotel, scheduled to open in the summer of 2027. The resort is being built on the shores of Bay Lake in the Magic Kingdom Resorts Area. It sits between Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

This page serves as a collection of everything we know about the hotel to date. Per Disney, the resort’s inspiration comes from Walt Disney’s appreciation of nature and the great outdoors. Guests can expect to find touches of animated films reflecting nature throughout the resort, including nods to classics like Bambi, Pocahontas, and Brother Bear.

Here are a few highlights that we know so far about Lakeshore Lodge:

The resort will offer floor-to-ceiling windows that allow natural light and showcase exterior views of its wildlife surroundings.
As mentioned above, the resort will offer 967 rooms, ranging from studios to suites, with the addition of lake houses sitting on the waterfront.
Lakeshore Lodge will have its own boat dock with service to the Magic Kingdom.
The resort’s feature pool will have a lazy river and water slide.
