Photos: 4th of July Decorations and Window Display on Magic Kingdom’s Main Street USA
We’re only a few weeks away from the 4th of July. This year, America celebrates its 250th anniversary, so if you’re visiting Disney World over the holiday weekend, you can expect a few extra special celebrations. We cover those in our guide to visiting Disney World on the 4th of July. For this article, I wanted to share a few photos of the 4th of July decorations at Magic Kingdom. We’ll also check out a fun new window display featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse in a patriotic scene. The photos provided were taken between late May and early June. I hope you’ll enjoy them.

Main Street USA Patriotic Decorations
We’ll start on Main Street USA, where we’re greeted by City Hall showing off some red, white, and blue bunting. We’ll see this same bunting in place on most other buildings on Main Street.

The train station looked patriotic nearby.

Even the Confectionery looked ready for the holiday. You might want to step inside to see if they have any special treats closer to the holiday.

Here’s a closer look down a fairly busy Main Street, USA.

If you’re looking for patriotic merchandise, you might check inside the Emporium. However, we’ve found better displays at Epcot and a few resorts. We’ll check out this year’s 4th of July merchandise at Disney World in a separate post.

Here are a few more photos of the decorations.

Mickey and Minnie 4th of July Window Display
In addition to the holiday bunting, we found that a new window display had been installed near one of the many entrances to the Emporium. It features Mickey Mouse on the left and Minnie Mouse on the right. They appear to be participating in a few old-fashioned holiday lawn games.

Mickey Mouse has a button, identifying him as the judge.

If you look closely, he has a scorecard where he’s given marks to all the players. It looks like Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Horace, and Pete were all participants. He is surrounded by references to some of the games, like badminton and croquet.

Minnie has her own window.

She is surrounded by all things red, white, and blue, including umbrellas and flower bouquets. If you look closely, you can see she’s wearing a button with Mickey Mouse. It’s super sweet.

If you’re visiting Magic Kingdom between now and the holiday, make sure to spend a little extra time on Main Street to absorb some of the extra holiday decor. You can have an incredible time just hanging around this area and taking in all of the comings and goings! You might also like to hang around and watch the fireworks from Main Street. You can learn more about the 4th of July fireworks at Disney World in 2026.
