Exterior Maintenance Currently Taking Place at Hospitality House at Disney’s Old Key West
A new refurbishment notice has been posted for Disney’s Old Key West that appears to be part of the ongoing exterior maintenance work that’s been taking place at the resort. Per the notice, work has already begun on the exterior of Hospitality House, which is the resort’s main lobby area. It is expected to last through early June. Here is the official wording:
From March 16 through early June, Hospitality House at Disney’s Old Key West Resort will undergo exterior maintenance work. Guests may see or hear refurbishment work during daytime hours, and at times may be directed to take alternate paths of travel.

Hospitality House is the resort’s central hub where you’ll find dining, shopping, recreation, guest services, and Papa’s Den. The boats that carry guests back and forth to Disney Springs dock at the back of Hospitality House. A bus stop sits at the front of the lobby area. If you’re visiting during this time, make sure you’re aware that some visible maintenance will be taking place at the resort.
There are no other posted refurbishment notices for the resort at this time. As you may know, Old Key West is slated to undergo a soft goods room refurbishment in 2026.
