2025 Magic Kingdom’s Fourth of July Fireworks Schedule
Magic Kingdom will host Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky this year on July 3rd and July 4th. Both evenings, the fireworks are scheduled for 9:20 p.m. Therefore, you can decide which evening you would prefer to see the fireworks or watch them both evenings (with a valid admission).
This is the typical fireworks schedule for the theme park. It allows guests the option to see the fireworks on July 3rd and then visit Epcot for a special holiday tag (ending), the Heartbeat of Freedom, which is usually only offered at Epcot on the 4th of July.
As far as crowds go, we generally prefer to watch Disney’s Celebrate America! on July 3rd. We have found that while it will be congested, it’s typically more pleasant than the actual holiday. That said, we would still secure a prime spot for the evening performance by 7:00 p.m. That’s a long time to wait, but ultimately it’s worth it. When the fireworks end, we always stay in our spot and let the crowds start to clear out. If you’re not staying in the Magic Kingdom Resorts Area and have to take a car or bus back to your resort, you might prefer to wait at least an hour.
At publish time, Magic Kingdom is scheduled to close at 11:00 p.m. on both evenings. That’s a bit disappointing, and we hope to see these times extended. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case in recent years. You’ll want to check the park’s hours of operation for any changes that may occur leading up to your visit.
