Disney Reveals Moana Sculpture for the New Island Tower Splash Pad at Disney’s Polynesian Villas
Walt Disney Imagineering has revealed a video of a life-size Moana sculpture that’s part of the splash pad at the new Island Tower Hotel at Disney’s Polynesian Villas. The video mentions that Moana is positioned facing Seven Seas Lagoon, so she can do a little wayfinding across the water to reach Magic Kingdom. The Island Tower is scheduled to open on December 17, 2024. Per the announcement, the tower addition will include a new fitness center and pool area. The new Cove Pool has a courtyard with a sandy beach area, a whirlpool spa, and offers magnificent views of Seven Seas Lagoon. Little ones will be able to discover Moana’s Voyage, a new splash area with a Moana figure and her iconic outrigger canoe! Here are a few more photos of what to expect.
