Disney’s Beach Club Villas Lobby Undergoing Maintenance Through Mid-September

Walt Disney World has announced that the lobby of Disney’s Beach Club Villas will undergo maintenance in phases between now and mid-September. Per the announcement, lobby areas may be unavailable during this time. Alternate paths of travel might also be in place. Here is the official announcement:

From August 3 through mid-September, the lobby at Disney’s Beach Club Villas will undergo maintenance in phases. Portions of the lobby may be temporarily unavailable, and alternate paths of travel may be in place. Guests may see or hear construction activity in the area from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until the work is complete.

Regular visitors might remember that the lobby and drawing room of Disney’s Beach Club Villas were updated in 2023. This notice indicates that the lobby area will receive maintenance rather than a redo, which seems unlikely given the recent refurbishment.

You may remember that the Beach and Yacht Club are also undergoing a significant exterior refurbishment at this time. Those visiting in mid-August will want to be aware that the resort’s Friendship boat dock will be unavailable due to maintenance.
