Yachtsman Steakhouse Scheduled to Reopen in Late August
Per the Walt Disney World website, Yachtsman Steakhouse is scheduled to reopen in late August. Starting August 28th, the restaurant lists operating hours from 5:00 until 9:30 p.m. Reservations are now available for the restaurant’s opening date moving forward up to 60 days out. For reference, Yachtsman Steakhouse is the signature dining location at Disney’s Yacht Club.
Yachtsman Steakhouse’s refurbishment was originally announced in early January. In February, Crew’s Cup, the adjacent bar and lounge, closed for refurbishment. Crew’s Cup reopened after its refurbishment on May 9th, and Yachtsman closed on the 10th.
If you’re considering making reservations at a steakhouse for your next Disney World vacation, Yachtsman is one of our top choices for signature dining. Some of the restaurant’s signature offerings include the 12-oz prime rib New York strip steak that comes with peppercorn-brandy sauce, the resort’s bread service, which includes the best onion rolls we’ve ever enjoyed, and the traditional Yachtsman Chocolate Cake. We’ve also had good luck with other cuts of beef and upgraded sides like asparagus and the creamed spinach. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it.
You may remember that the Yacht Club has been undergoing an extensive exterior renovation over the last year that’s expected to last through the end of 2026. We have a photo report from early June that shows the extent of the exterior scaffolding that was present on our visit.
