2020 Epcot Flower & Garden Outdoor Kitchen Menus
Preview the 2020 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival outdoor kitchen menus. In our last review, you might remember that we went over the expected topiaries, Garden Rocks concert dates and looked at special garden tours offered.
This review will focus on the Epcot Flower and Garden 2020 outdoor kitchen menus.

With the significant amount of construction currently taking place at Epcot, it doesn’t appear that there are many changes from last year’s menu items overall. However, we are looking at one new outdoor kitchen, Magnolia Terrace, that offers what seems to be a very promising menu. So let’s start there and work our way through.
Magnolia Terrace Outdoor Kitchen
The Magnolia Terrace outdoor kitchen is inspired by comfort food in the Gulf region. After reviewing the menus, I felt the most excited about trying this new booth.
Oysters are not a dish you find anywhere, and this earlier part of the year, they are prime. The menu states served with a side of Cajun butter in a way that it’s hard to imagine the dish going wrong. Except for the fact that this delicate seafood could easily be overcooked.
I guess we will have to see. This one is currently on my “will try” list. The other items sound potentially tasty as well.

Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market Menus
Bauernmarkt’s outdoor kitchen is located in the Germany Pavilion of the World Showcase. Most of the outdoor kitchen menu items found here are popular at the festival. Additionally, the items here tend not to be too adventurous, making it a good stop for children with three different kid-approved things.

The Citrus Blossom
This Citrus Blossom debuted at the Flower and Garden Festival this past year. The 2020 menu appears to offer the same food choices. In addition, the trendy Orange Bird Sipper cup with orange cream shake returns this year. If you are familiar with that item, you might remember it sold out multiple times during last year’s festival.
I tried all of the menu items here last year, except for the crispy chicken dish. So here’s a preview of those items:
Above we have the Citrus Shortcake, which happens to be one of my favorite dessert choices at the festival.
And below is the lobster tail that was a nice treat at a reasonable price for the higher-end item. This dish came on a skewer that helps you pull the meat away from the outer shell.
Another returning item is the Tuna Tataki Bowl. It reminded me of a tostada-style dish more than anything. I enjoyed this one, but I have to admit it’s not something for everyone.
Here’s a look at the full menu:

Flavor Full Kitchen Hosted by Advent Health
The Flavor Full Kitchen appears to offer a few different items in 2020 compared to last year. The Flavor Full Kitchen boasts promoting flavors from healthy cuisine. Last year I enjoyed the roasted beet dish here, but it has been replaced by a new grilled vegetable dish featuring a hummus cream and red pepper coulis.
We’ll see if the salmon dish listed remains the same as last year. It was an excellent option for anyone looking for something on the light and healthier side.
I did try the Blood-Orange Agua Fresca the previous year, and the flavor reminded me of that old-fashioned Tang drink mix. The drink was pretty popular on social media, but I didn’t feel that anything warranted a second purchase.

Fleur de Lys
The France Pavilion at Epcot is always famous. That’s a given. But add in festival time, views of the new Skyliner, and construction of the new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and you can expect quite the crowd.
This outdoor kitchen is one you might want to target early or late in the day due to its popularity. So often, I pass by here and refuse to wait due to the length of the line.
But they have several items that do sound appealing. This will also be one of the most popular locations to pick up a frozen slushy that’s a little different from the typical offerings already available in the Pavilion.

Florida Fresh
The Florida Fresh outdoor kitchen is typically located between the Morocco and France Pavilions in the World Showcase. Food offerings here are a play on items local to Florida. Additionally, this kitchen is where you can find the popular key lime tart with toasted meringue that’s been a hit the last couple of years.
If you are looking for a refreshing drink, I recommend trying the Watermelon Cucumber Slushy. It comes with gin on the left (above) and a non-alcoholic version on the right. As you can see, these aren’t large, but they offer somewhat of a unique flavor profile. This one is on my list for a return purchase.
Here’s a look at the rest of their 2020 Epcot Flower and Garden Menu:

Hanami
We will have to see what the Japan Pavilion has in store for us this year after the festival begins. The Hanami menu has two new entree options, while the Frushi dessert returns. The frushi is a play on sushi, except it’s made with fruit, sweet rice, and a pink soy wrap for a fun play on color.
Hanami Menu in the Japan Pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase

Frushi: Strawberry, Pineapple, and Cantaloupe wrapped in sweet rice and pink soy wrap served with whipped cream drizzled berry sauce and toasted coconut. *Kid-Approved | 6.00 |

Beverages: | Price: |
Kirin Draft Beer | 4.50 |
Strawberry Nigori Sake | 7.50 |

Jardin de Fiestas
This outdoor kitchen is located in the Mexico Pavilion area as you exit Future World. I have to admit I haven’t tried many food items at this stop in the last few years. However, I often stop here first when venturing into the World Showcase for whatever specialty margarita item they are offering.
Now you might think that funny, considering La Cava is a few steps inside the Pavilion with many options. And Choza de Margarita hasn’t been open too long on the outskirts of Mexico with their variety of margarita choices.
But I have found fun margaritas the past few years at Jardin de Fiestas. Also, I enjoy paying a smaller price for a smaller portion in this case. And the line is usually much shorter/quicker than what you’ll find inside the pyramid.
Jardin de Fiestas Menu | |
Menu Item: | Price: |
Chilaquiles de Pollo: Chipotle-braised chicken and tortillas served with salsa ranchera, Monterey Jack cheese, crema Mexicana, and Guajillo cheese | 7.00 |
Quesadilla al Pastor: Flour tortilla filled with Monterey Jack cheese and pork Pastor topped with grilled pineapple, salsa Verda, red onion, and cilantro | 7.50 |
Choriqueso Torta: Bolillo roll filled with chorizo and Monterey Jack cheese, avocado mousse, and jalapenos | 7.00 |
Beverages: | |
Cruz Blanca Rose Spritz: Effervescent Rose wheat ale with Elderflower liqueur | 7.00 |
Mango Mexican Lucky Margarita: Spicy Ancho Verde liqueur, 100% Agave Tequila Blanco, Mango-passion fruit puree, lime juice, Applejack, and Ginger cordial served with a Tajin chili-lime rim. | 11.75 |
Rosita Margarita: Rose Petal liqueur, 100% Agave Tequila Blanco, lemon and cranberry juices served with a rose petal salt rim | 12.75 |
I think the Mango Mexican Lucky Margarita sounds crazy enough to go either way.
La Isla Fresca
Those looking for a bite of the Caribbean flavor will want to stop by La Isla Fresca in the World Showcase Promenade. For whatever reason, this kitchen hasn’t ever appealed to me enough to warrant a stop, but the lamb curry dish might change that this year.

Tropical Freeze with Parrot Bay Mango Rum | 10.00 |
Lotus House
This outdoor kitchen is located in Epcot’s China Pavilion and is pretty well-known for offering a few unique beverage items. In addition to the individual beverage items, they are usually larger in portion size than the rest of the outdoor kitchens. So, if you are looking to try something different, this might be a good stop.

While you are visiting the new Canada Far and Wide in Circlevision film, you might find yourself looking to try a taste of the country’s offerings. The Northern Bloom is usually positioned in front of the Canada Pavilion. Here’s a look at the outdoor kitchen items:

Primavera Kitchen
Italy. According to the menu, these items are ALL kid-approved. This is one of those instances where I think that might be a stretch. The Italy Pavilion offers some of the best dining around at Via Napoli. That’s probably where I would go if I wanted an Italian meal. We’ll see how this year’s outdoor kitchen pans out in a few weeks.
Warning–that Italian Margarita has been a complete sugar bomb in the past.

Taste of Marrakesh
Taste of Marrakesh was perhaps, one of my favorite booths until this last year’s Food and Wine Festival. But it looks to be promising again at this year’s Flower and Garden Festival.
The chicken kebab returns, and while not listed, I think this is one of the more kid-friendly items. It’s chicken on a stick. Maybe they believe the skewer is dangerous, but you can easily slide it off and eat it with a fork. Kids tend to have unsophisticated palates, and the kebab is a good yet solid dish.
I also really enjoyed the Desert Rose with a splash of pomegranate here. It’s a nice size, and I found it very refreshing on a warm day.
Outdoor Kitchen Menu for Taste of Marrakesh at 2020 Epcot Flower and Garden
Menu Item: | Price: |

Beverages: | |

Larroque Chardonnay, Meknes | 6.00 |
White Sangria | 6.00 |
Desert Rose: Sparkling wine topped with pomegranate liqueur | 9.00 |
The baklava is also a real treat. Hopefully, it will remain just as tasty this year.
Trowel and Trellis Hosted by Impossible Foods
My intention last year was to get around to the Trowel and Trellis outdoor kitchen, but it just never happened. This is the kitchen that offers a plant-based menu, and two of the items are listed as gluten-free.
If you have any allergies or concerns about gluten-free items, I would specifically look at the menu list at each outdoor kitchen. In addition, there should be a book listing all ingredients and any cross-contamination issues at each booth.
I have a family member that deals with severe food allergies, and in his case, he does not participate in any food items at any of the festivals. We have had good luck with some beverages, though.

The Honey Bee-stro Hosted by National Honey Board
This outdoor kitchen is another one of those “must try” if you haven’t had a chance to experience it before. According to the menu, the previously offered items are returning. And there’s no wonder why they’ve all been successful dishes.
Below is my cauliflower dish from two years prior, and I remember that I ordered it on multiple occasions because it’s delicious.
Another dish I have consumed on more than one account is this honey-mascarpone cheesecake. It’s yummy and comes with a few excellent accompaniments that help classify it as an over-the-top kind of dessert.
These dishes would go on my list if I weren’t on the market to try new items this year. And that’s also why I’m adding the chicken flatbread below to my list.

Rarely do I stop at any of these for a drink or frozen concoction. But they are here if you please:

Every festival brings a couple of new featured items at some year-round locations. I’m sure they have to attract business, considering the loss of regular food/beverage sales to the outdoor kitchens.
Here are the ones available for this year:

As you can see, there will be plenty to choose from menu-wise at the 2020 Flower and Garden Festival. Make sure to bookmark this page on your phone for an easy way to reference the menu while you are in the parks. Once I collect the prices, I’ll add them to each menu.
Also, I recommend making a list in advance of items you are interested in trying and keeping it on your phone. This is a great way to remember anything you want to try, souvenirs you wish to pick up, etc.
Planning a trip to this year’s festival? You might consider staying at a resort nearby Epcot. The following resorts are within walking distance to the park:
