Are you looking for the best Marriott hotels near Walt Disney World? With so many options, it’s challenging to know which hotel will work best for your next vacation. Most of our go-to picks, whether budget-friendly or luxury, fall under the Marriott brand.

Below, we’ll preview some of our favorite Marriott hotels near Disney World. We’ll discuss factors you’ll want to consider, like proximity to the theme parks, amenities, and pricing. Marriott has a reputation for being one of the best hotel brands in the Orlando area and the world. It’s our preferred brand of hotel when it comes to staying off-site.

Rest assured, we have stayed at all of these hotels over the years. Since we live in the area, we are exceptionally familiar with each hotel’s location and reputation. We wouldn’t recommend any hotels that we wouldn’t pay to stay at. Many of the neighborhoods around Walt Disney World are transitional. So, we urge our readers to do their research. We know there are many great options out there, and we can only get to one hotel at a time.

Marriott Close to Disney World

As you probably know, location is one of the most important factors when choosing a hotel. Likewise, outside the Disney bubble, you can quickly end up in a touristy or transitional area. Some of these areas we adore due to their dated charm. However, most of them are not places we would want to stay for our vacation, and neither would you.

When you hop on the internet and begin your search for Marriotts near Disney World, you’ll find a list of over 100+ hotels. Each hotel is competing to win your reservation. If you’re unfamiliar with the areas near Disney World, filtering the results can take a long time. It’s no wonder you feel overwhelmed and confused when you close your browser.

Many of the hotels appear to be located near Walt Disney World. But unfortunately, they’re not. Between location and traffic patterns, you can easily reserve a resort with a considerable daily commute back and forth to the theme parks. Who knows where you’ll end up?

So, every hotel listed below is within close proximity to Walt Disney World. Technically, a few options are Marriott Hotels on Walt Disney World property. Of course, our favorite hotel is surrounded by Walt Disney World on three sides. I don’t think you can get any closer than that.

Best Marriotts Near Disney World (with Free Breakfast and Shuttles)

We’ll start with our top choices for budget-friendly hotels near Disney World. The bonus? These two options offer a complimentary hot breakfast and shuttle service to the parks!

They are also exceptionally close to Walt Disney World. How close? These hotels sit off Western Way in an area known as Flamingo Crossings. When you exit the parking lot, you can see the entrance gates to Walt Disney World ahead. You’ll be within a couple of miles of Disney’s Coronado Springs and Disney’s Animal Kingdom and approximately six miles from Magic Kingdom.

Fairfield Inn and Suites

Fairfield Inn and Suites at Flamingo Crossings is a newer hotel that offers standard room rates, reasonable pricing, and complimentary breakfast. The hotel serves a continental breakfast that includes hot items each morning.

Given its newness, it’s an impressive hotel. We spent the better part of a week in a standard room and were beyond happy with the rate and amenities.

For breakfast, we enjoyed the free buffet each morning, which included make-your-own Mickey waffles. This hotel is tough to beat because of its reasonable rates, proximity to Disney World, and complimentary breakfast. Residence Inn

After spending ten days at Flamingo Crossing’s Residence Inn, this hotel quickly became my top choice for the best budget-friendly Marriott near Disney World. It has all the bells and whistles plus a fancy Grand Floridian-esque look.

This hotel has two room options: a standard king deluxe suite and a one-bedroom suite with two queen beds. My room was the deluxe suite. It offered so many of the comforts of home that I felt I could live here full-time.

The room had an adequate kitchen, and the hotel offered a complimentary breakfast each morning.

I could easily prepare items in the full-size kitchen for lunch and dinner.

One other huge factor–As of this update, both the Fairfield Inn and Suites and Residence Inn at Flamingo Crossings offer a free shuttle bus to and from the Disney theme parks. The following two hotels charge for shuttle service.

TownePlace Suites by Marriott

Our next best Marriott hotel choice is pet-friendly. The hotel also has everything you need to stay on a budget, including a small, fully equipped kitchen area.

Due to upgrades, a stay at TownePlace Suites will be slightly higher in price than some other hotels in the immediate area. However, these upgrades are suitable for anyone wanting to save money by preparing a few meals in the room.

Additionally, TownePlace Suites has amenities that include an onsite restaurant, a swimming pool, and a fully equipped gym. A complimentary breakfast is also included.

This hotel is located within the Flamingo Crossings complex. Note that it’s an older hotel. So it won’t be as fresh and modern as the Fairfield or Residence Inn. We have a separate TownePlace Suites Marriott at Flamingo Crossings Review if you want to learn more.

Springhill Suites by Marriott

Springhill Suites is adjacent to TownePlace Suites and offers budget-friendly accommodations with a complimentary breakfast. Since the hotels sit on adjoining property, they share recreational amenities.

However, they are considerably different regarding rooms and pet policies. When we drove to Walt Disney World, Springhill was our go-to hotel for a first-night stay. The following day, we would move to a Walt Disney World-owned resort.

A few times, I thought we would have been better off staying at the Springhill Suites, given the comfortable room accommodations. Rooms at Springhill provide much more space than standard guest rooms at Disney.

The Springhill Suites Marriott provides a complimentary breakfast every morning. The breakfast includes pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, and hot items like scrambled eggs and bacon.

Best Marriott Hotels Near Disney World (with Impressive Amenities)

Next, we’ll check out what I consider the best all-around Marriott hotels near Disney World. While these hotels might not be the most budget-conscious, they are still within reason and offer impressive amenities!

Since these hotels are all larger resorts with various recreation options, you’ll probably want to plan a resort day during your stay. If you are paying to stay somewhere nice, by all means, slow down and enjoy what the resort has to offer.

Gaylord Palms

Gaylord Palms is a Kissimmee-based Marriott centrally located off Osceola Parkway near Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The location factor alone makes this resort convenient for visiting Disney World.

If you’ve stayed at a Gaylord Palms Resort, you probably already know what to expect. These hotels are designed to keep guests at the resort. Why leave when your hotel has dining, recreation, and a water park at your fingertips?

Of course, this kind of resort will have extra charges, like resort fees, with these cater-to-you amenities. Gaylord Palm’s resort fee is approximately $38.00 per day, and you’ll pay a whopping $35.00 per day to park if you have a car.

However, they offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the theme parks. If you have to park at the resort, consider using a car service or the hotel shuttle to avoid parking fees at the theme parks. You don’t want to incur daily parking costs at the hotel and the parks!

JW Marriott Bonnet Creek

When it comes to our all-time favorite Marriott Hotel near Disney World, the JW Marriott Bonnet Creek Resort and Spa tops the list. Only a few years old, this hotel is within close proximity to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Typhoon Lagoon, and Disney Springs.

As mentioned earlier, Bonnet Creek is surrounded by Walt Disney World property on three sides. So you’ll never know you’re not staying at Disney World. Our first stay at Bonnet Creek’s JW Marriott was one of the best hotel experiences ever. Between being pampered by the staff, enjoying room service, and relaxing at the stunning pool, it felt like the ultimate luxury hotel experience.

Our standard room had a walk-in shower and a soaking tub. Plush white robes were waiting near the shower, with extras in the closet.

Marriott Hotels on Disney World Property

Our last options for the best Marriott hotel are unique because they are located on Walt Disney World property. These hotels are the Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve.

Disney’s Swan and Dolphin

Disney’s Swan and Dolphin are comparable to Disney’s deluxe category of resorts and share many of the same amenities. Both hotels are within walking distance of Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Like most hotels, these Marriott Resorts charge a resort and parking fee. However, the overall pricing often wins out compared to the neighboring on-property Disney Resorts. These rooms will be updated in 2024. Most of them now have solid-surface flooring, but the overall furniture remains the same.

Disney’s Swan and Dolphin boasts numerous dining options. Between the resorts, you’ll find four signature dining restaurants, multiple table service options, a cafeteria, counter service, and a poolside bar and grill. Additionally, the Grotto Pool, which serves both resorts, is included in our list of the best pools at Disney World. Now that’s saying something.

Regarding the main differences between the two, the Swan has a boutique feel. Meanwhile, the Dolphin accommodates larger crowds and serves as a convention resort.

Other perks include the use of Disney Friendship boat transportation. This is an excellent option for those who prefer alternative transportation to the neighboring parks.

A shuttle service is also provided to the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. So, most guests never know they aren’t at a Disney-owned and operated resort. Swan Reserve

Lastly, the Swan Reserve is the newest Marriott hotel near Disney World. It’s located next door to the Swan and Dolphin.

Guests of the Swan Reserve can use the Grotto Pool area at the Swan and Dolphin. However, the resort has a beautiful pool area.
